There are a few housebound patients who cannot get to the surgery and for whom we can offer home consultations.

However, visits are time-consuming, preventing a doctor from being available for emergencies and the doctor may be unable to examine the patient properly at home.

Visits are difficult to fit in during a doctors busy working day so please, if you think a visit is necessary, phone as early as possible.
