Patient Participation Group

 Patients of Bottreaux surgery PPG

(Patient Participation Group)

Our PPG is a group of volunteer patients who act as a bridge between our fellow patients and our GP Practice services, with the aim to enhance the patient experience and the well-being of the users of the surgeries.

We liaise with the surgeries on things like disabled access, parking, accessing online appointments.

We tried out this more sociable way of getting your annual flu vaccination, at Crackington and it was so popular that we tried it at Tintagel this year which also proved popular.

We also want to enable people to connect with each other for mutual support in our geographically scattered community; people with chronic conditions, such arthritis, diabetes or MS and people who are suffering serious illness and their families.

If you have ideas about this, including wanting to get in touch with others please do tell us.

We have created a Facebook group-page that you can join and become a virtual member of our PPG. The more people who join, the more useful the page will become for accessing support groups, asking questions about anything to do with our GP practice or help to start a group.
